Event Brief

• A real-life placement simulator designed to test skills, knowledge, and mindset.
• Event consists of five rounds:
  • Aptitude Test
  • Group Discussion
  • Technical Interview
  • HR Interview
  • Pitch the Idea Round

Round Structure

• 1. Aptitude Test
  • Assesses logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude, and verbal skills.
  • Focus on speed, accuracy, and problem-solving under time constraints.
• 2. Group Discussion
  • Platform to express ideas and opinions on given topics.
  • Evaluates communication, teamwork, leadership, and group dynamics handling.
• 3. Technical Interview
  • Tests branch-specific knowledge.
  • Assesses problem-solving, analytical thinking, and concept application.
• 4. HR Interview
  • Focuses on personality, attitude, confidence, and professional behavior.
  • Helps participants learn how to present themselves effectively to recruiters.
• 5. Pitch the Idea
  • Shortlisted participants act as interviewers and present innovative ideas/solutions.
  • Evaluates creativity, leadership, presentation, and strategic thinking.

Rules and Regulations

• Participants must bring a printed CV/Resume and submit it at the start.
• Formal attire is mandatory to maintain a professional environment.
• No mobiles or external help allowed during rounds.
• Judges’ decision is final.
• Misconduct or disrespect = disqualification.
• Report at the venue 15 minutes before the event starts.

Judging Criteria

• Aptitude Test: Accuracy, speed, logical reasoning ability.
• Group Discussion: Clarity of thought, communication, confidence, teamwork.
• Technical Interview: Subject knowledge, problem-solving, practical application.
• HR Interview: Attitude, personality, ethics, adaptability.
• Pitch-the-Idea: Originality, feasibility, clarity, convincing ability.
• Professionalism & Presentation: Grooming, etiquette, overall conduct.
