Event Brief

• Name: Debug & Glow Challenge
• Focus: Test logic, problem-solving, and practical electronics skills.
• Format: Two rounds – Bug-finding & Hands-on circuit building.
• Team Size: Duo (2 members per team)
• Skills Tested: Circuit analysis, debugging, practical implementation, accuracy, and speed.
• Materials Provided: Circuit diagrams, components, breadboards, and related materials.
• Judging: Accuracy of circuit completion and minimum completion time.

Rules and Regulations

• Team Size: Duo
• Time Bound: Minimum time will be considered for ranking
• No Devices: Mobile phones or internet strictly prohibited
• Fair Play: Any malpractice or misconduct leads to immediate disqualification
• Equipment: All required materials provided; participants must handle carefully
• Judges’ Decision: Final and binding for all rounds

Round Structure

• Round 1 – Debug a Thon

  • Description: Find bugs and mistakes in a provided simple circuit diagram.
  • Team Size: Duo
  • Time Limit: Minimum time considered
  • Elimination: Top 5 teams advance to Round 2
  • Venue: D2, second floor

• Round 2 – Glitch to Glow

  • Description: Implement a real-time circuit on a breadboard using given statements and components.
  • Format: Practical task
  • Time Limit: Time-bound
  • Winning Criteria: Accuracy of circuit completion and correct functioning
